Do you offer free consultations?
Yes. We offer a free ten minute telephone consultation. Please complete the contact form.
Will I speak to Hulya Mehmet?
You have the opportunity to talk over any concerns you have about your child’s communication prior to deciding wether you wish to book an appointment.
Hulya receives a high number of enquiries, please be patient in waiting for her to schedule your telephone consultation.
How many children do you see at Articulate Speech and Language Therapy?
Standard assessment takes between 60 – 90 minutes.
Therapy sessions last 45 minutes. Each therapy session is bespoke and tailored to your child’s exact requirements.
Late attendance: We are unable to add on or carry over session time due to lateness.
How can I get an appointment?
Where is my child seen?
- Appointments usually take place at the therapy rooms in Orpington.
- School assessments take place in the educational setting, by prior written agreement, with the school.
- Occasionally, we can offer home visits, by prior agreement / arrangement.
- We offer online assessment and therapy sessions.
Written Reports
This is to keep the cost of assessments fair for those whom do not require a report, the majority of clients do not.
Referral letters, additional written targets (e.g. for school IEP’s) or telephone calls on behalf of the client may carry a fee. In such circumstances, the therapist shall always provide advance notification of potential fees.
